Example:   At a lucrative 20% profit per month with a constant 100 point bankroll, a net profit of 240 points can be earned (Profit level 1, shown in the chart above). Alternatively, putting winnings back into a growing bankroll, start at 100 points and end up with over 750 points net profit over 12 months at that level of return (Profit level 2) 

This is tilting the bookies' odds (a 5-10% edge towards them) back towards the punter.  The bookies' margin can lead to your bankroll being halved in a year or less (blue line on the charts above).
